15 credits · 13 cards · $3,740 a year at face value

Hotel credits and free-night awards: every card that has one.

Direct hotel credits pay on stays booked with the chain itself, so elite status and points are preserved. Free-night awards are the opposite of a statement credit: capped by point value, sometimes gated on prior spend or a qualifying stay, and worth nothing in a year you do not use them.

Every card with one, sorted by face value.

A free-night REWARD, not a statement credit: one standard-room award night, valid any night of the week at nearly any Hilton property with standard-room award availability (no points cap: usable at top-tier Waldorf/Conrad properties). Issued automatically each cardmember anniversary; the certificate expires 12 months after issuance, real forfeiture risk. Valued conservatively at $450 (Frequent Miler estimates ~$521; ceiling $1,000+ at trophy properties).

Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card$550 annual fee Semiannual Hilton Resort Credit
Up to $200 in statement credits each half of the calendar year (Jan–Jun, Jul–Dec) on purchases made directly with PARTICIPATING Hilton Resorts only: a curated list (many Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and flagged resort properties), not every Hilton. Room rates charged by the resort qualify; third-party and non-participating properties do not. The unused half forfeits, so full $400 realization requires resort stays in both halves of the year.
$400 $200 twice a year; unused amounts are lost —
